MARSA ALAM

Elphinstone Reef is found between Marsa Alam and Port Ghalib only about 4 miles out the coast. The area in front of Marsa Alam is named after this city. And farther out and to the south the famous reef of Daedalus.
The laguna of Sha'ab Marsa Alam is the home of a lovely big pinnacle that is cracked open creating a swim through. The remains of M/Y Legend are not much more than the bowels of a ship, but a great place to look for crocodile fish and octopus.
